Dressage Training

John is a classically trained dressage rider, trained by Carl Hester, Emile Faurie and a list of other top riders.

John offers clinic dates across the UK and Ireland, and also travels freelance in Shropshire and the surrounding areas.

John specialises in producing young horses, one of which was sold abroad and went on to be part of the Olympic team at the Rio Olympic Games.

CALM & CONFIDENT

John is known for having a very calm, confidence building manner and works on the psychology of competing – training riders for both Dressage and Eventing.

He trains both horse and rider for the perfect balance and suppleness leading towards natural self carriage which is essential for developing lateral work.

You don’t have to be competing to benefit from John expertise, he has a confident calm approach to diagnosing the problems between horse and rider, training riders of all levels from Novice to Advanced.
